Who am I? Alice: expert daydreamer, fashion freak, Ravenclaw and severe book nerd. I have a huge interest in photography and travelling the world - also, I drink a lot of lattes. I'm a Nordic who grew up in southern Europe so think of me as a viking with a(n occasional)tan...uhm...also, I'm kind of wierd.

  High fashion loves

I often imagine myself strutting down a boulevard in Paris in a pair of fancy heels and a gorgeous dress - just like in the fashion editorials, carrying a myriad of shopping bags and admiring the stunning window displays. When I stumbled upon RED Valentino's spring/summer collection for next year, I instantly thought that these absolutely adorable creations emulate this daydream of mine.

Yes, perhaps this super-duper-ultra girly look is not exactly my style.
and yes, I would look like a little doll if I wore these (with my few centimetres and all), but I can't help but love them anyway...if not only just to look at them!

RED Valentino has become a brand I often find myself looking at, since they create such unique and beautiful pieces. Their current collection, for example, has a whole lot of dresses reminiscent of babusjka dolls....which is adorable! I mean...look:

Also, the editorial pictures for the collection are beyond perfect...they make my little photography  heart squeal with joy! I absolutely adore the fairytale-esque backdrops in contrast with the super sweet dresses!

 I would love just to own one of these little ensembles and then go out and take heaps and heaps of beautiful pictures...what a dream :)

I thought I'd share with you some things that I found to be very beautiful and inspiring...its funny how something so simple as a dress can spark your imagination...maybe I'm just strange that way!

(Both Shopbop & Net-a-Porter sell the brand...and the pictures on there make the dresses look a teensy bit more wearable if you're not that into the hyper-girliness of the looks above.)
