  Somehow, being stressed and nervous about tests sparked a will to be creative....my mind works in weird ways it seems. Over the past few days, whenever I wanted/needed a break from studying, I've been painting watercolour flowers and sticking them up on my wall. I thought this would be a really nice way of showing off some of the painting that I do, instead of them just lying in a drawer somewhere and also add a bit of a colourful flair to my room. So far my little art project doesn't extend very far but I'm planning on trying to fill up a large section above my bed so that it makes a bit more of a statement. I've included peonies, violets, poppys, irises, cornflowers....as many as I could think of! I love watercolour painting....especially floral motifs & I think this could turn out really cool! I'll update you on the progress as I go along! XXX |
